There are many ways to organize things. When it comes to colors I prefer to organize them like a rainbow. I find myself going over this menomic my 5th grade teacher taught me. I was surprised when I met some people who didn’t know it. So I share with you how to remember the order of the colors of a prism/rainbow.
Autumn, Fall or whatever you want to call it – it’s my favorite time of the year. I love the colors. I love the smells. I love the crispness in the air. The one thing I miss when I live in my beloved warm climates is fall. Frost on the pumpkin, flaming red trees, lemon yellow leaves making a carpet on the lawn – seeing your breath when the sunset and cool rolls in. Ahh…. these are a few of my favorite things. Our colors here are a bit dull this year. Still they are pretty. Here’s a few shots of my favorite season.
The rose of the year in our garden is still beautiful despite a bit of frost nipping on the petals.
A few weeks ago Mike and I took the Secret Gardens tour of Kenosha. Mike enjoyed gardening ideas. I enjoyed the photo opportunities. Despite the drought the gardens were lovely. I’m sure the owners put in a lot of hard work and watering expense to make them ready for the event. Sit back and enjoy this colorful photo post.
