I’m a cat lady and I came by it honestly. I’ve always loved animals. However, I have always had a special connection with cats. I’ve been the proud caretaker or play-with-er for many great felines. I have very fond memories of all of them. This one was a Tom named Happy. He came to live with us on Jennifer Street in Greeneville Tennessee bringing along his less gregarious brother Secret. It’s that time again. September starts the craft shows for my friend Paula and me. We kick it off with an Inventory Clearance Sale of the previous years’s things in Kenosha’s Harbor Market Every Saturday in September. Last Saturday was our first one this year and it went well. This is the first year that we have taken credit cards for purchases of $25 or more. (more…)

Spring is trying to make an appearance here in Wisconsin (despite the three inches of snow we got yesterday) which turned our minds to adopting a dog. I’d been surfing the various pet rescue and adoption sites sending photos to Mike. We saw this one Molly that appealed to both of us and I sent two e-mails. However, bad dog didn’t reply. She disappeared from the sites and we figured she’d gotten her forever home. (more…)
That morning started out much better than the dash about going to Capri Morning. Got up in time to have coffee and breakfast before heading off to the Mozzarella factory. Walking to the meeting point I saw I was going to be about 5 minutes late but since it was a bus not a boat I wasn’t worried. (more…)
Yes we are hammering away at our recorded movie backlog. I mean really what else are you going to do on a cold March evening? Looking for something light, we chose RIPD. It fit the bill for light entertainment.
We have a lot of movies to watch at our house. You see our cable company gave all subscribers a free month of HBO. Top this great offer with Mike’s love of movies and that gives us an 80% full recording cable box. He even taped a plethora of chick flicks and I don’t like chick flicks. Apparently he does or he’s trying to get in touch with his softer side. Either way, it just about a movie a night around here.
