It’s that time again. September starts the craft shows for my friend Paula and me. We kick it off with an Inventory Clearance Sale of the previous years’s things in Kenosha’s Harbor Market Every Saturday in September. Last Saturday was our first one this year and it went well. This is the first year that we have taken credit cards for purchases of $25 or more.
Everything in our booth is $10.00 or less. It’s to clear our decks and load for the new season’s merchandise for the holiday gift giving craft fairs. We have mark down signs and not as many intricate designs available but many wonderful things at a steal. So if you are in the area do make an effort to stop by. Heck even if you are road-tripping like the ladies from Charlotte North Carolina that were great customers stop by and shop! Hopefully every day is as lovely as last Saturday.

The morning started off humid as could be. So humid the air was walking as pea soup. But as the morning came on that burned off and a nice lake breeze kept us comfortable. I was pleased to see my new earring tree stood (seen in the photo above filled with earrings) well in the wind. The new tent with real tent weights did well. Just a quick fix to one sign and gusts were not a problem. We had a lovely view of the museum fountain and occasionally got a cooling mist from it.
Hopefully we again have beautiful weather every Saturday this is year four and only once have we had to pack up early due to weather. Let’s hope the trend holds! See you there next Saturday!
