I have always heard the supposed quote “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.” But as I was researching misquotes for Wednesdays I discovered I’d gotten this wrong for years.
The correct quote is…
A little learning is a dangerous thing.
~Alexander Pope
Which today I think of this applying to people commenting on articles when it is obvious they only read the title and not the body of the article.
